Moving!

I am so excited! We are moving to a nice apartment! It is in a better neighborhood, we will have a balcony, no slanted ceilings, a laundry place in our building, picnic tables outside! Yay!

Talking Tommy

Tommy has changed so much in just three months! He used to only get animated while changing his diaper, now he loves to talk!!

International Pay It Forward Day

April 28th is International Pay It Forward Day, the goal is for one million people to do something nice for one another. I believe it can be more than that! Something as simple as a smile or opening a door for a mother or an elderly person. C'mon what can you do to pay it forward! On April 28th keep your eyes open for things other people need, and provide it, opening a door is free!! I would love to hear what you did to help pay it forward so come back and tell me! If you are a believer in the Pay It Forward Movement and would like to receive free Pay It Forward bracelets to help email pif@payitforwardtoday.org and they will hook you up with some wristbands. Lets be nice to one another.

Our first Easter as a family:

Tommy in his Easter outfit!

Auntie Lori with baby bunny!

Our little bunny boy.

Auntie Brittney and Crystle with Tommy.

Dawn and Auntie Eileen with Tommy

Today was wonderful! He has risen!! There is so much that I am grateful for this Easter. I am grateful first of all for a roof over my head, after experiencing homelessness I will forever be grateful for a safe place to rest my head at night and food in my stomach. I am extremely grateful for my family, my amazing husband and our beautiful son! The day started with music and coffee, we got Tommy ready for the day and ourselves and out we went. Auntie Lori came and picked us up and we went with Brittney, Crystle, Lori (of course Tom, myself and Tommy) to Auntie Eileen's house. I met Tom's Aunt and cousins for the first time which was nice. We ate a delicious brunch and when we came home took Tommy for a stroll. Hope everyone had a great Easter! Tell me about it if you have the time!

Baby boy in NICU

This is our little survivor when he was in NICU, born at 34 weeks he had a little trouble adjusting being out of Mommy's tummy. This was probably the hardest thing I have been through. To see your child sick and feel so powerless. His jaundice had gotten so bad at one point his eyes were yellow. Luckily he only had to stay in a week, and thank God for the Ronald McDonald House. This house allowed my husband and I to stay right across the street from the hospital and I could be with my boy every feeding. So glad our NICU days are over. Thank you God.
